As we go on

Shit son.
Life flies by way too fast. I have four classes left of high school, ever.
Four.
I remember my first day of grade one, crying to my mom saying I didn't want to go. I didn't want to grow up. I was a smart one. I should have fought harder that day. For I would do anything to go back to that. Thankfully, I know I no longer have high school drama to deal with as my school days reach an end. And that is something I am very excited for. Knowing I can go off and live my life. Be passionate and move forward instead of being forced to go to the same three rooms everyday. It's a great feeling.
It also means I need to learn how to kick my own butt into gear and actually get things done. That, in it's own, will be quite interesting.
Until then,

Like a train on a track

We are our own worst enemy. It is said countless times. We are harsh of ourselves; our actions, our looks and our feelings. But WE are in control of those things. Of all the people you know you should love yourself the most. The human body is perfect and we should love and thank it for all its done. We need to appreciate who we are and what we have for it is what we were given.
The mind and body are one.
-Do things you enjoy.
-Surround yourself with people you love.
-Listen to your favorite music every morning.
-Set goals.
-And every night sit and reflect on all that you have and be thankful.
There is no miracle product that will give you an over all well being and a long and healthy life.
The only thing you need is a true understanding of your mind, body and soul.

Athena & Aphrodite

After a whirlwind of plane rides, cruises, olive oil and goddesses I am finally laying in my lovely bed. The trip I took to Greece and London was phenomenal. I learnt a lot about not only myself and my classmates but about a different area of the world I had yet to explore. I fell in love with Greece and all of it's amazing islands. And as much as I was really only in London a day or so, I still would like to return and have a proper trip.
I will post small stories as I remember them but for now I will make 5 points of the trip.
1. I'm a great Barter
2. I shouldn't shop for myself. For when I do it just breaks or gets lost
3. Even converters wont save your straightener
4. I would like to say that one day I will own a cave house on Santorini next to Brad and Angelina
5. Cruise ships aren't for everyone.

The only real concluding thing I can say about it all is the travel bug... is back.

You used to rule the world

Every fashion blog you look at has some kind of post about Galliano. I would like to put my two cents in.
First off: yes, what he did was a terrible disgusting thing. No human should ever utter words such as his.
But can we please take a moment and look at some of this pieces including ones from his final Dior show..

This man is a genius, no one can deny that. We should look at his art, not his words. If he can compose a sincere apology I see no reason why he can not rise to the top of the fashion world again. Hence his choice of music during the show "Viva la vita" starting with "I used to rule the world" and ending with Adele's "Rolling in the deep" containing the words "We could have had it all"
I honestly hope to see Galliano again. I always enjoyed his work. He just needs to learn to speak through his work, and not in remarks to people.
